Supporting St George’s NNU Families
In March 2021, former ECC cricketer, Jake White, is running a trail marathon to raise funds for First Touch, the dedicated charity of the neonatal unit (NNU) at St Georges Hospital. The charity works to provide medical equipment, staff training and family support to ensure the best outcome for newly born babies.
Jake’s goddaughter, Sadie, and her twin sister, Mair, spent the first months of their lives in intensive care in the NNU, having been born prematurely, with 24-hour supervision from the nurses staffed there. Sadie and Mair are the children of former ECC Chairman, Ben Shaw, and Jake is running to raise funds so the unit can continue their extraordinary work.
Any donations are greatly appreciated!
Best of luck from everyone at ECC, Jakey. This is a fantastic cause and we’re with you all the way!
