Womens Cricket Softball Festival

Dear All,

We are now a squad of 10 for the Softball Festival on 26^th Aug which is great news:

Pat has signed up as organiser / captain on this occasion and registered us as a team of 10 so we now need YOU to sort out your individual registration as soon as possible – see details below:

Please click on this Newdigate CC   link in red and complete your individual registration – put Effingham Cricket Club down as the team name. (This only appears when you have chosen your role from the drop down menu).

Playing experience : When you register there is a section on “Have you played before”. There is a drop down menu which isn’t very helpful to most of us as the options are: never played before, tried softball once last summer or play regularly.  We suggest we go for “play regularly” but put a qualifying comment in the additional comments box (under the emergency contact number) along the lines of  “ we are a newly formed cricket team with experience of only a handful of training sessions and 1 match”

Please note that the entrance to the ground is via Henfold Lane.

It’s about 40 mins from Effingham Cricket Club so if people would like to share lifts we suggest meeting at ECC just before 10am.

Please ping us a quick reply when you have registered and also let us know if you want to meet at the ECC to share lifts or go straight there.
